Ingo Schmidt is a German. He worked ten years as a manager in the largest European mail order company Quelle. His main responsibility was human resources and capacity management, including strategic and operational planning. During that time he also become very experienced in project management, process optimizing, reporting and controlling. Customer service oriented work was guaranteed through especially designed recruiting methods, organizing high quality trainings and workshops and employee supervising and coaching as well. 

Ingo has lived and worked most of his lifetime in the German capital Berlin. Before working as a manager for Quelle Ingo has additional 4 years of market research, editing and publishing experience. He also worked in the field of education and public relations. 

In 2007 Ingo decided to move towards China Business. He became an entrepreneur, worked on several German-Chinese projects like business delegation from China to Europe, consulting for Chinese companies and event management in the German capital area. 

In 2008 Ingo was selected to the EU China Manager Exchange Training Programme in Beijing. He joined in order to learn Chinese and to deepen his China Business background and network. Now he is working on Chinese-German projects in both directions. His main focus is on cooperation projects and investment. Additional he is developing business missions and educational projects like management training, intercultural training, and vocational training. 

Ingo has studied Foreign Trade at HTW and Social Sciences at Humboldt University Berlin. He speaks German, English and step by step more Chinese. By the way he is married with a Chinese. Nowadays he is working and living mostly in Beijing and partly in Berlin.
