Hainan International Science Park was set up in 1991 by the approval of the State Council. It is situated in the Xiuying District of Haikou City, covering an area of 4.67 sq. Km. As a national hi-tech industrial zone, it offers the enterprises investing in the park not only the preferential policies for the Hainan Special Economic and Hi-tech Industrial Zone but also more favorable policies in export and import, financial support, land transfer, etc.
